Who we are

DaMaVey is a Danish family-owned company building Cody & Bugzy: Vibe Quest, an educational coding adventure game for children ages 4–12. This landing page collects early access signups for the game’s 2027 launch.

What data we collect

When you sign up for early access on our landing page, we collect only your email address. We also store a hashed (SHA-256) version of your IP address and browser user agent for spam prevention. That’s it. We don’t collect names, phone numbers, addresses, or anything else.

Where your data lives

Your email is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database hosted in Western Europe. "Your data stays in the EU" isn’t just a tagline on this page — it’s literally where the database lives. We don’t copy your email anywhere else, and we don’t sell or share it with third parties.

Why we collect it

Your email lets us tell you when Cody & Bugzy launches and share the occasional update before then. The hashed IP address and user agent exist purely to stop spam and abuse of the signup form — we use them to notice patterns like the same visitor submitting dozens of emails in a minute, never to identify you personally. They’re hashed with SHA-256 before they ever touch storage, so we don’t keep your raw IP address at all.

Cookies & tracking

None. This site doesn’t set cookies, run analytics, or load any third-party trackers. If that ever changes — say, we add privacy-respecting analytics down the line — we’ll update this page first.

Children’s privacy

This landing page is built for parents and guardians, not children — it’s just an email signup form, and we don’t knowingly collect any data from children here. The game itself is designed for ages 4–12, and when it launches, in-game data handling (which will be built to a much stricter, child-specific standard) will get its own privacy documentation.

Your rights

It’s your email address, so it’s your call. At any point you can ask us what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely — just email us and we’ll take care of it. Since we only store an email plus two one-way hashes, there usually isn’t much to untangle.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until launch, until you ask us to remove it, or until it bounces — whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it rather than just marking it inactive.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we’ll update the date below and, if you’re already on the list, let you know by email.
